Google AdWords Voyeur - Can Boost Your Sales With This 4 Hours

March 30th, 2008 Rob Posted in PPC Advertising No Comments »

I used this very technique recently to help a client in a competitive retail industry achieve one of the highest positions on Google AdWords (within their category) & yet they’re only paying Google absolute minimum Cost Per Click!

Google gives you the ability to create more than a single text advert for each ad group, & it will then automatically display them in rotation each time a prospect searches on one of your keywords. Clear? It is called split testing, & it is very powerful.

Once you had enough clicks, Google Adwords tells you which of your multiple adverts is performing best. Then you can scrap the lesser performing adverts, leaving the best one there to work at a more effective level. And also usually at the same time you can then lower your Cost Per Click yet retain the same high position above your competitors adverts.

I know for a fact their competitors can not touch that in terms of cost of customer acquisition. Their first year of business growth has been nothing short of phenomenal & I’m very excited for them as they enter their second year of trading.

If any of your Google Adwords ad groups only have a single text advert in them, login immediately & create more variations. Make the most of this powerful feature, then sit back & watch your profits rise.

You get to find out exactly which advert performs to a higher level… which advert encourages more people to click it than any other of your adverts.

March 22nd, 2008 Rob Posted in PPC Advertising No Comments »

PPC advertising is becoming more & more popular, & all kinds of businesses & organizations are trusting their profits to this method of promotion. You need to craft your ad carefully–if you don’t, it could end up on sites where you do not want it… Here are 5 ways to make your PPC advertising dollars $ work.

1. Keep Your Ad Clean
Never waste words, & remember to be clear about your business. Don’t clutter up your potential client with unnecessary information. All you want to do with this ad is get them to click on your website link; you do not want them to have to sort through the same information twice.

2. Ready, Aim….
Target your PPC advertising by choosing your keyword phrases carefully. Use phrases that your customers will enter into the search engine to look for your business, & use it in the title of your ad as well.

3. Use Power Words
Everyone loves words like ‘free,’ ‘instant,’ ‘discount,’ & ‘coupon.’ Use these words whenever possible. If you can, even just offer them ‘free’ advice or give them a small publication that includes information on your business.

4. Too Many Words
Make sure you use as few words as possible. This is just a short informercial–you do not want them to have to read War & Peace.

5. Tell Them to Click
Use the last letter of the AIDA marketing principles (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) to get them to click on your ad–tell them. Otherwise you may miss quite a few clicks.

Lucrative PPC Publishing - Intermediate Ways to PPC Publishing

March 18th, 2008 Rob Posted in PPC Advertising No Comments »

Whether you’re new to PPC Publishing or you want to expand what you already have, there’re ways & tips on advancing your PPC Publishing. The internet is as big & popular as ever, so it’s important to know how to PPC publish if you want to get ahead in the world of websites. The following ways will often help you in advancing on the internet:

? Get to know your targeted audience & speak directly to them. You may even have to research the market or topics about your target audience, but, it’s of most importance to know & use that audience’s language.

? Choose the keywords that your target audience will search for, not something that sounds interesting. Once again, you have to know your audience in order to know what keywords to use; this is what’s attractive to them.

? Do not use a lot of complicated or fancy phrases; be clear, simple, & easy to understand. Using information that people find informative is what will draw in your targeted audience & make them want to stay.

? Make sure your audience knows who you are. This means that you’ll want to state who you or your company is, this lets your audience know that you’re not wasting their time.

? Update your ads regularly. Nobody likes to see old information, especially in the fast paced world of the internet. This also means to change the design around; a new ad will catch your audience’s eye better than an old one.

? Make sure you’re getting clicks by checking on your ads frequently. You need to know how to improve the ads or when to just pull them, but, you really need to keep up with the statistics if you’re going to do this.

PPC Advertising - Intermediate Tips for PPC Advertising

March 14th, 2008 Rob Posted in PPC Advertising No Comments »

Companies, businesses, offices, it doesn’t matter who it’s or who you work for; advertising is bound to come up. A popular form of internet advertising is ‘PPC’ or ‘Pay per Click’. It’s important to any website to get more traffic, & if this is your goal then you should take into consideration the following tips for PPC advertising:

1. It is important to select a good website or location & a good place to add your links on the website. To select a good website or location you can check to see if the website under consideration has good ratings or a high flow of traffic.

2. Target your intended audience. This means to write your ads for the people you want to sell your product or services to or to research a small group in the market so as to understand them better & target them.

3. Find the best keywords for your product, make your ad keyword rich, & place bids on your keywords.

4. Write attractive, quality advertisements. This can be done by focusing on the benefits of your product, offering discounts, the product name, among other things.

5. Make sure your ads are easy to read & understand. This means you really need to know the product or service you’re selling & turn that into a simple, concise ad.

6. Pay attention to your conversion rates, meaning, how many visitors turn into customers. If you are not getting a lot of conversions, adjust your ads or the keywords in your ads.

7. Watch how much money you’re earning as opposed to how much money you’re spending. It’s common sense to pull an ad or campaign out that is wasting money & focus more on the ads or campaigns bringing it in.

Google Adwords Guide Ultimate - Here Are A Few Of The Real Google Adwords Experts

March 10th, 2008 Rob Posted in PPC Advertising No Comments »

There are a few individual persons on the internet that are clearly head & shoulders above virtually everyone else when it comes to using Google Adwords. There is more. There’re also a lot of “wannabe’s”, & some of these are decent marketers, how ever, if you want the real experts, you really need to look at those that have actually written google adwords ultimate guides. There is more. These are guys like Perry Marshall, Don Crowther, John Barker (AKA Mr.”X”) & a few other select individual persons that know how to play the Google game inside & out, top to bottom. These guys do not just talk the talk, but also walk the walk by running their own successful ‘pay per click’ campaigns & constantly testing & tweaking ads in order to find out what works now & then pass that information on to the rest of us.

A couple of other Google Adwords experts that I neglected to mention are Bryan Todd, the co-author of Perry Marshalls most recent “Definitive Guide” & also Howie Jacobson, who, along with Bryan, work with Perry to help him run his coaching club. Howie was recently honored with the privilege of writing a new popular Google Adwords guide book for a prominent offline company.

Pay per click advertising isn’t a playground for inexperienced marketers. Clear? It is very important that you buy a reputable guide book & not just read it, but study it thoroughly before you ever attempt to jump into the “mosh pit” (as Perry Marshall likes to call it) of Google Adwords.

This marketing method can either make you very successful or very broke, if you do not take the necessary steps to learn the basics before you begin. I have heard a lot of horror stories of people losing hundreds or even thousands of dollars, when it was not necessary. All they had to do was buy a good Google Adwords guide ultimate, read it & apply it… If you are smart, you will do it before you start playing the “game”.

9 Ways to Excel At PPC Advertising

March 5th, 2008 Rob Posted in PPC Advertising No Comments »

Mileage & money are the very goals of PPC advertising which is gaining recognition among on line advertisers today. Online marketing like the PPC eventually replaced traditional media because it’s simple, ad campaigns are better controlled & immediate feedbacks are easily generated.

Here are 9 effective ways on how you can make your mark in PPC advertising:

1. Use keywords & keyphrases appropriately. Your ad should contain words that are usually being used by your target market when they’re searching for your products or services. Clear? If you’re selling computers, make certain that the words computer, PC, laptop, etc. appears on your ads.

2. Put quality content on your ads. Remember you do not have unlimited space when placing ads online. Make your content concise yet appealing.

3. Throw in some freebies. Get free gift when you click this! A phrase that will definitely catch anybody’s attention. Give out some free items to encourage on line users to click & read your ads.

4. Advertise on tops search engines. Google is unarguably the most used search engine on the web today. Investing on Google takes you few steps closer in generating more profits.

5. State the benefit or your product or what sets it apart from the rest. Communicate with your target audience & let them know why they should not pass on our product.

6. Put your ads where your target market is. Place your ads where your target market can be usually found. It can sometimes be forum, social networking site, etc.

7. Track down your success. Clear? If you’re not getting more sales, analyze the weak points of your PPC campaign & improve them at all cost.

8. Direct your PPC ads to a site where interested clients can find all the information they need about the product or service & where they can make a purchase.

9. Create sense of urgency. Limited offers make people want to take their credit card out & place orders at once, take advantage of it.

Google Adwords - Why You Should Be Using Google Adwords To Promote Your Business

March 1st, 2008 Rob Posted in PPC Advertising No Comments »

Google Adwords is the undisputed king of ‘pay per click’ advertising search engines, case closed. You can open a Google Adwords account & literally have your ads in front of millions of interested BUYERS around the world in 30 minutes or less. Clear? It takes even less once you get your account set up, which costs a whopping $5.00 USD.

Google Adwords is being used for practically every marketing concept imaginable, on & offline. It is super easy to set up two ads to run against each other & send visitors to them until one of them has reached 100 clicks. Unless they’re within just a few clicks of each other you have found your winning headline & you may bow use this winning “control” to advertise the same campaign online, & also set up a postal mail campaign offline. Actually, you could use the headline for practically any offline advertising purpose, flyers, newspaper or magazine ad, ect. The point is that you have tested it & know that it outperforms the other ad.

Do you want to create a super killer headline for your ad? Keep that first winner & write another ad to attempt & beat it… This is called “beating your control” & you should constantly be trying to do this. There is more. The more times you run these ads you will be easily able to continually increase the effectiveness of your advertising campaign. I recently read a story of a newspaper ad that had a “control” that was finally outperformed by another ad - after 30 years! I believe it was in the New York Times.

Anyway, back to Google Adwords. You can use Adwords to build a mailing list, promote products or services, either your own or other peoples. There is more. The possibilities are endless.

In summary, if you would like to take your business to the next level, or if you are just getting started, you should really consider using ‘pay per click’ advertising, namely, Google Adwords as your primary ‘pay per click’ search engine.

Ways to Make a Profit in PPC Publishing

February 22nd, 2008 Rob Posted in PPC Advertising No Comments »

No business is said to be fully exposed to the consumers’ reach when no advertising has been done. Getting a wide market is, after all, every business’s goal. And depending on the strategies & techniques used, your advertising may reach your local neighborhood or the entire Internet-conscious community.

Inevitably, with the global community’s awareness of the prowess that the Internet could bring, every on line business is undoubtedly equipped with a website that they can boast as their own. All these innumerable websites are aimed to lure & attract the same audience?the entire global market.

Pay-per-click advertisements are all those links that come up every time you make a search in any of the search engines?it could be in Yahoo!, Google, MSN, & all the other search engines out there. All these sponsored links are aimed to be visible enough for the on line visitors & eventually convince them to read more about their products or services. Here’s how the pros make it in PPC publishing:

1. Identify the market you’re targeting. Do you follow? This way, you’ll know how to specifically design your advertisements?formal for the professionals, colorful for the kids, & informative for all those who are hungry for information.

2. Like your design, the language that your content will use should likewise be appropriate for the market you’re trying to attract.

3. Update, update, update. Nobody would want to see a website whose content has remained the same for the past two weeks. Put up something that will tickle the curiosity & interest of everybody who happens to visit your site.

4. Keep things simple. Not everybody is that Internet-savvy, & people who are not in the mood for complex graphics & complicated content will definitely leave such a website as fast as they could.

5. Honesty remains the best policy even in our world when everything can be done in a single click. So clicking on your own ads for the money it generates isn’t well, being honest of you…
