Use Ezine Marketing to Boost Traffic or Profits

September 1st, 2010 Rob Posted in Ezines No Comments »

You’ve probably seen them advertised or subscribed to a few. E-zines seem to be sweeping the Internet and filling mailboxes. Maybe you’ve thought about creating your own for your site, but decided against it for any number of reasons. Maybe you didn’t see how e-zine marketing could help. Maybe you decided that maintaining an e-zine would be too much work. Maybe you didn’t think anyone would pay to subscribe, and why go through all that work for free? Well, here are some responses to your excuses.

E-ZINE MARKETING WON’T BOOST SITE TRAFFIC

You’ve probably got repeat users on your site; those dedicated few who check up on you everyday to read any new posts no matter what. Obviously an e-zine won’t make them come back more frequently. They already visit every day! How much more do you want them to view your site?

Then you’ve probably got those people who check you out once in awhile when they think of it. Those people might only visit the site once a month. What if they had subscribed to your e-zine because they liked your site so much and received it in their mailbox once a week? Wouldn’t that remind them to go visit the site more?

And what about that one time user who came to your site, loved it, and then suffered from a minor head injury and partial amnesia and forgot all about your site. No traffic from this person. But what if they had subscribed to your e-zine? The reminder would be sitting in their mailbox, which they had stored the username and password for in case they did succumb to partial amnesia, and they would once again be able to visit your site. And who knows? Maybe visiting your site could trigger all of their memories to return. You’d be seen as the hero you are, all thanks to an e-zine.

And if you simply mail out the password to subscribers and have the e-zine posted on your site, then every time a subscriber reads the e-zine, they add one more hit to the site.

E-zines are a regular reminder to Internet users that your site is still around and worth checking out.

AN E-ZINE WON’T MAKE ME ANY MONEY AND ISN’T WORTH MY TIME

Oh contraire. E-zine marketing can and does produce revenue. Ignore the fact that in the last section I showed you how e-zines increase site traffic and thus revenue. Think for a moment about affiliate marketing. What if you place some of your affiliate marketing links within the e-zine? By doing that you are sending your revenue generators directly to mailboxes instead of being forced to wait for consumers to come to you!

Also, who said that the e-zine has to be free, or that you can’t have an upgraded e-zine available for a small fee? The upgraded version could have extra articles, more frequency or other nifty features that people would be dying to pay for. If people like what you have to say, then they will be willing to pay for it.

AN E-ZINE WOULD BE TOO HARD TO PRODUCE

As with so many things on the Internet, you have to remember that you’re not alone. There is an entire market out there of people whose job it is to help you market online, and e-zine marketing is no different. There are websites out there that you can buy articles from to post and sites devoted to writers trying to find freelance jobs just like writing for your e-zine. Programs can be downloaded to help you with your formatting, and contact lists in e-mail programs make mass mailing a cinch.

I am not saying that creating an e-zine will be as easy as eating a sandwich, but it can be done without an obscene amount of work. The benefits are absolutely worth the cost in time or money. In today’s Internet, e-zine marketing is a tool that cannot be ignored.

Is Ezine Marketing Dead or is it Still a Viable Option for My Business?

August 21st, 2010 Rob Posted in Ezines No Comments »

Ezines help you establish yourself as an expert in your field.  When current and prospective clients receive your ezine filled with helpful information that is relevant to their needs, desires, and interests, they will begin to regard you as a source of information.  Not only that but when they have questions or needs, you may very well be the first person that they call on for help simply because you obviously know your stuff and because your regular contact puts you foremost in their minds.

Ezines are also still an amazing marketing tool.  They put your company and your products or services in front of customers in a non-threatening, non-obtrusive way.  You create a community with your clients and prospects by involving them in industry news and even more if you ask for feedback and offer a question and answer column.

Lastly, ezines offer you a regular method of putting new offers or a new product or service information in front of your customers and prospects.  You don’t have to wait for a ezine issue to make them aware.  You have their email, sending out a supplemental ezine with information or offers just for subscribers is a great way to sell.  Podcasts, audio, and video marketing and blogs are all popular mediums, still nothing beats the opportunity to be invited into your customer’s email box on a regular basis.

According to the Kelsey Group, 70% of U.S. households use the internet as an information source when shopping for products and services.  In fact, according to Jupiter Research, having a website is imperative in the dialogue between retailers and consumers.  They estimate that online sales are only 5% of the total retail market but about 30% of retail sales are researched on line prior to purchase.

What does this mean to your company?

Well it certainly means that you need a website but even more than that, it shows just how important an e-Ezine is to your marketing campaign.  Why do you need both?  They both provide your customer with information about your company.  If done correctly, they both entice your customers to purchase your products and services.  In fact, if you provide your customers the ability to purchase on-line then your website goes one step further than a Ezine ever could.

How Can an Ezine Benefit Your Company?

Ezines build credibility by providing potential customers with valuable information on a timely and consistent basis but they’re also an integral part of your marketing campaign.  While your website offers valuable information about your company, your products, and your services; your ezine can delve deeper into your buyer’s concerns, interests, desires, and needs.

Your customer might go to your website to find out what products you offer but your ezine can show how a specific product can benefit a certain area of your customer’s life.  A manufacturer of roofing products for the construction industry might detail their products and benefits on their website but a ezine article could detail how a particular roofing product could speed up actual construction time and thus lower the overall job cost saving prospective clients time and money.

Ezines can build customer loyalty.  Despite the vast number of ezines pouring into in-boxes on a daily basis, people enjoy being part of a community, being kept informed, and being valued as a customer.  Sending your valued clients and prospects regular updates and offers on your products or services as well as information to better their lives, involves them and brings them into your corporate community.  Moreover, if you provide a question and answer feature in your ezine, it shows them that you value their concerns.

How can my Website and Ezine work together?

On the internet, there are two crucial methods of acquiring sales, the first is to generate traffic to your website and the second is to convert your website visitors into customers.  While your website may drive traffic to your store or business, your ezine can serve to drive traffic to your website in a variety of ways.

Ezine Archives and Search Engine Optimization.  When potential customers begin their research process they often start with a search engine.  An archive of ezine articles that match their key words brings them directly to your website where they may read the plethora of articles that you have on the relative subject matter.  The longer that you keep this potential customer at your site, the more likely they are to make a purchase.

More important than waiting for potential prospects to find your website on a search engine, your ezine will bring them to it. Providing valuable information and including a forward to a friend option in your ezine and you have the ability to widen your prospect base and thus widen the potential number of visitors to your website.

Ezines are a valuable tool for evaluating your customer’s buying habits.  Tracking what your customers and prospects read in each ezine can give you insight on how to optimize your product selection, placement, and help to focus future marketing initiatives.

While your website makes the front end sale or sends the customer to your store, ezines provide you the opportunity to build on your relationship with your customer and encourage future sales.  It increases the lifetime value of your customer.

While, there’s no doubt about the importance of a website, an ezine can prove to be a valuable marketing tool to, not only drive traffic to your website but to also build relationships with current and prospective customers.

What is Involved in Creating An Ezine?

Before you get started, it is important to take some time and research your competition.  Do they have ezines?  If they do, subscribe to them.  Search their archives.  What do you like about the ezine?  What do you not like?  What can you do better or differently from them?  What can you learn from them?

Look at the ezine not just as a business owner with an eye for marketing but also review it from the eye of a consumer.  It is vitally important throughout this entire process that you are able to get inside the head of your consumer.

Expect that you will take approximately 8-10 hours to craft your first ezine.  After than, you can expect it to take approximately 4-5 hours per issue depending on how you’re distributing the ezine and how much copy you plan on offering.  Set aside an hour and a half per article if you’re writing them all yourself.

• Creating the original design format for ezine 6 hours
• Creating the copy-2 hours (for a 1 or 2 article ezine)
• Formatting the ezine-1 hour
• Sending the ezine-10 minutes
• Testing/tracking-1 hour per ezine

As you develop a method for creating your ezine this process can be significantly shortened.  I’m a writer so it takes me much less time to craft the copy but my graphic design skills are shall we say…challenged so it takes me much more time to design and format a ezine.

Regardless, the initial time commitment will be greatly shortened as you become more accustomed to the process.  So don’t be deterred by the initial time commitment.

Solo Ezine Marketing Versus Safelist Single Adverts

August 10th, 2010 Rob Posted in Ezines No Comments »

Single ezine marketing refers to ads which can be despatched alone (with no other ads or content) to an on-line magazine’s (ezine’s) subscriber base. There are truly two sorts of single advertisings: these which can be sent for the ezine subscriber base as described before or these which might be despatched out to safelist people. Safelists are comprised of persons who sign up that allows you to market their own products/services and, in turn, agree to study other ads which have been despatched by other members. With safelists, you consent to receive all of these promotional advertisements inside your inbox and, whenever you click these advertisements, you make credits being able to give your personal advertisements.

An advantage to marketing in ezines is that you simply are going to be sending out your ad to persons who’ve subscribed towards ezine to be able to get data, sources and updates on that specific subject. In case your solution is quite well suited to a particular ezine niche, you are able to get tremendous results. With safelists, it’s several.

Individuals don’t subscribe so as to understand about a distinct subject. They subscribe in buy to be capable to publicize. A wholly various mindset. The common ezine readers subscribes to additional than one ezine. Nonetheless, they aren’t bombarded with numerous emails every time due to the fact of the subscription. If someone is subscribed to several safelists, they may get numerous emails per time in their inbox. Once again, the only incentive to examine these emails would be to achieve credits. They aren’t searching for details or news. So, here again, single ezine advertising is probably preferable to solo safelist promotion. Ezine solo adverts can vary greatly in cost from 1 publisher for the following. Of course, the cost is dependent upon the size of the ezine’s subscriber base, the perceived top quality of content, the frequency and perhaps days and instances the newsletter is despatched out, and so on.

In any case, single advertisements usually are not free of charge. With some safelists, members can basically deliver out “free” single advertisings. This is really a small bit tricky simply because they aren’t basically cost-free. You nevertheless have to earn clicks in buy being capable to give out these ads. So, whether you pay out in time or in cash (because you’ve upgraded to purchase your clicks), you’re having to pay. Inside the finish, some marketers swear by safelist solo promotion. It usually includes a whole lot to try and do with the products you offer. If you’re providing a solution that may produce visitors or an e-book which will aid with safelists, for instance, safelist members shall be more apt to click on that due to the fact those are the factors that they’re utilizing safelists inside initial location. On the other hand, in case your item is in the different industry (health, beauty, etc), you’ll usually be much better off by doing solo ezine marketing as an alternative. This also operates the other way close to. Promotion your well being or elegance supplement in the safelist will most most likely not get very much response.

Ezine Marketing: 3 Essential Components Required to Make More Sales From Your Email Marketing Newsletter

August 4th, 2010 Rob Posted in Ezines No Comments »

Contrary to popular opinion, marketing by email newsletter is not yet dead, despite the pervasiveness of blogs and social networking. What I like best about ezines is that I have a list of people who like, know and trust me, so anytime I do something, such as offer a teleclass or a product for sale, they are a ready, willing, and responsive target market.

Several years ago when I debated about eliminating my ezine from my marketing mix and substitute a blog instead, I heard a very strong and resounding “No!” from my readers. Some people prefer to get an ezine in their email inbox on a regular basis, while others prefer to get blog feeds. I do have a blog and post my email newsletter articles there, as well, so I think I have created the best of both worlds with this marketing strategy.

Once I convince clients of the need for an email newsletter, the first question I hear is, “What do I put in the ezine?” The contents of my email newsletter have changed over the years, but over time I have discovered 3 essential components that every email newsletter publisher should include in her newsletter:

1. “Get to Know You” section. People have to know, like, trust and respect you before they’ll decide to buy anything from you. I devote the first section of my email newsletter to write a short paragraph about what’s going on in my life and my business, be that good or bad. I subscribe to several other ezines in which the publisher has a similar column, and quite frankly, it’s always the first section I read in those email newsletters. Almost always, it is this section that brings me the most comments and feedback from my subscribers. This strategy is a great way to begin to let your “voice” permeate your ezine marketing.

2. Quality, Information-Packed Article. In my early publication years, I did a slip-shod job in demonstrating my expertise by choosing only to share resources in these early editions.. While resources are helpful, the key to demonstrating your expertise is by sharing your expertise. I believe the best way to do that is to teach what you know through writing an informative article that solves a major problem experienced by your target market. I’m quite fond of “how to” articles, so most of mine are written in that format. I believe that most people search online for quality information, so the “how to” format helps my readers figure out how to implement a new strategy in their businesses.

3. Marketing Promotion. Because part of my income is derived from product sales, I feature one of my information products each week. Occasionally I may decide to feature a product that I love for which I’m an affiliate. The key here is that any affiliate products you feature should directly relate to and be used by your subscriber base. If you don’t currently have an information product, feature the service that you provide. Remember, the ultimate goal of publishing an email newsletter to make more sales, whether those are sales of your products or your services.

4. Optional: Resource Section. I’m an information junkie and collect info about useful online resources and services like a kid collects video games. Because I know that many of my readers have the same problems that I have in my business, I share a resource gem each week with them to help them better manage their businesses or their lives.

I also include a promotion about new posts in my blog to my ezine readers (these are posts appearing exclusively in the blog, not what they have previously read in the email newsletter). as well as an overview of what’s new on my membership website. When I’m speaking at an event or hosting a teleclass, I create an Upcoming Events section to inform my readers of these noteworthy events.

Your ezine can be as short or long as you wish, but generally it should take no more than 5 minutes to read. If you incorporate these 3 essential components into your ezine marketing, you will see your product and service sales steadily increase.

Tips For CPA in Ezine Marketing

July 30th, 2010 Rob Posted in Ezines No Comments »

Cost Per Action marketing is very popular in the internet. It has switched to many formats in creating profit where it first started with ad placements on web pages and mini sites. Some advertisers also utilize links on such hosts to insert more advertisement in one viewing. But the main objective of which is to earn money in paying advertisers for each action that users – such as click, register or download make.

One of the many formats of CPA is Ezine Marketing where publishers make money by placing advertisements over online newsletters. It is the preferred advertising method by many new online marketers because it is cost-efficient. Virtually, the only investment is time writing good quality articles, and placing them on hosting site. The combination of both methods makes return of investments an easy task, however venturing to this type of business requires beyond the basic know-how. Here are the tips on the things you need to know about CPA money through Ezine marketing.

What is an Ezine?
It is a newsletter delivered via email where you may opt to subscribe. It is a business tool that is used to develop relationships by keeping in contact with clients and/or members. Ezine also function as a company booster where players are able to increase business credibility on the market and may also be used for sales and advertising purposes.

It works with the component of ‘permission’ granted to the ezine publisher. This permission affects the effectiveness of the campaign where the frequency of emails vary from daily, multiple times, weekly, monthly, quarterly and other periodic bases. Longer intervals are of course not recommended for they suppress the opportunity to make money in a larger scale.

Where do I start?
Starting with a solo advertisement is more than difficult. This is especially true when you are just beginning to understand the ezine business. So it is always wise to contact experienced ezine owners and offer a joint venture. You would always want to learn from the experts where you know you won’t go wrong. They obviously know the dos and don’ts of the business so stick with them and their proven ways.

Agree through contracts with these owners with a promise to provide the best and exclusive articles or coverage at a given time. This strategically means recruiting good people or experts to write for you at a lower value. When time permits that you go your own way, keep in touch with these business partners and make them your affiliates. More contacts mean a wider range of market.

Now that you are on the right track of starting an ezine campaign, make sure to use “call to action” in your ads. It is a technique mostly in words that persuade costumers to make a purchase, register or take other specific actions. Call to action techniques is what makes customer feel like doing something they aren’t originally interested in.

This should not lead to any attempt of manipulation. The main objective and the beauty of CPA money through ezine marketing is to establish a trust relationship with your customers. Keep them informed about the latest news, updates, products or services to build rapport and create an impression that there is always something new – that the company or brand has fresh ideas and activities to offer. You want to be transparent to your customers and allow them to know you and trust you and what you offer.

Reinforce this relationship by offering freebies. Never sell anything. Make it clear that you are not selling anything in your communication; instead offer a special report or free sample of your product or service or even a free trial or subscription. In doing so, try to exchange such lucrative benefits with information such as name, email or others and use these information to expand your operation in earning money through Ezine marketing.

Good Contents for Ezine
A good format for ezine ads is always necessary. The contents of an ezine would have to be free of spam and concise yet effective. You really want to maximize the space, volume and frequency of your campaign. Write professionally. Write as if you are selling something with out that trying hard feel on the letter. Remember ezine CPA are not sales letter. Focus on providing and exposing the best features of the campaign and charm your customers with these. Lay down the benefits of the freebie or product or service. Try to make an impression that they are not just subscribing to a newsletter but rather enjoying more the benefits included the subscription.

It is also important to remind readers that the subscription is free. They won’t have to pay for anything. This could be achieved by publishing free reports or updates via auto responder. The reports in which case are closely related to the kind of business or campaign and subscription. This bulks up to the free incentives that they are getting.

You should also evaluate the effectiveness of your CPA money making through ezine marketing to make adjustments as needed. This is all possible by launching a survey on customer satisfaction through the auto responder option. This CPA strategy helps you identify and understand the needs and wants of your customers and allows you to cater to them in the future. A more efficient response to this is to publish a FAQ or frequently asked questions section. This saves you from the tedious task of answering each question via email.

Earning CPA money through Ezine marketing needs a lot of effort. It is just like any other CPA methods where monitoring, evaluation and adjustments are necessary. But despite the ton of work, the benefits of CPA marketing can be very rewarding. The secret of success in this business is just to know the basics and grow beyond this knowledge so that in the future you will be able to lead the traffic in cost per action in your own terms.

Taking the Fear Out of Ezine Marketing

July 19th, 2010 Rob Posted in Ezines No Comments »

Electronic magazines (Ezines) and online newsletters are quickly supplanting their in-print ancestors, especially as more and more people first turn to the Internet when trying to gather information on a specific subject.

Ezines are also an integral part of website marketing since they work so successfully in building traffic, identifying qualified prospects, spreading “news,” and encouraging both repeat and up-sell purchases.  Additionally, since they contain what is perceived as important and valuable information on a subject, Ezines and online newsletters are great for establishing yourself as an expert in your field.

Many website owners think that Ezines are solely for marketing and sales-oriented websites but nothing could be further from the truth.  Although they are invaluable to those types of websites, no matter what the focus of your content there is always an audience waiting to learn more about the subject.  Importantly an online newsletter can help turn your website into a profitable enterprise since there are lots of ways to make money from it, even if you don’t directly sell products.

For example, you can carry Google provided advertising or solicit ads from companies that market to the type of readers you’ve attracted.  Additionally, since Ezines are perceived as “news,” rather than advertising, they also allow a website owner to appear impartial even when he or she is not; this opens up a myriad of promotional and endorsement possibilities that can help optimize profits.

All this said it’s clear that just about every website could benefit from having an Ezine.  The biggest obstacle most people face in adding this service for readers is their own misconceptions that developing, writing, publishing and managing an Ezine are beyond their capabilities.  They simply don’t know where to start.

Luckily, Mike Filsaime has taken his incredible expertise and pulled it together into an ebook, “Ezine Marketing 4 Newbies.”  Like his other “…4 Newbies” guides, this one is chock full of information, techniques and step-by-step guides to get novices up and running a successful Ezine in no time.

The book covers all the fundamentals, from determining your Ezine niche, to finding appropriate third-party content, writing your own articles, actually publishing your Ezine and – importantly – how to add the interactive elements that build reader loyalty and website visits.  You’ll also find a wealth of information and highly successful tools to use in marketing your Ezine or newsletter and building your email list by leaps and bounds.

What Prevents Most Businesses from Using Ezine Marketing

July 8th, 2010 Rob Posted in Ezines No Comments »

Who should be using ezines to market their products or services? The answer is every single business owner in America. We all know that ezines provide an enormous list of marketing benefits.

First of all, they provide inexpensive and immediate delivery to a client. Second, ezines give you a perfect chance to establish yourself as an expert in your field. Third, they keep your product or service at the forefront of your clients’ mind and attention. Fourth, ezines are a great platform to request referrals and provide special discount offers.

So, what do these benefits of ezines mean in terms of actual results? It means that a business that advertises through ezine marketing will build a strong relationship with their customers. This will lead not only to a lower attrition rate, but it will also lead to more frequent purchases from your client base. In addition, your ezine marketing will lead to more referrals if done properly.

So, why do so few businesses advertize with ezines? The short answer is fear. But, we can’t just leave it at that. What are business owners so afraid of? And, if we can determine the specific nature of the fear, can’t we find ways to overcome it? To answer the question, let’s first start by looking at the issue of fear a little more closely.

It turns out that most business owners who don’t use ezine newsletters as a way to market their product are afraid of one of two things. Most are afraid that they will be pestering their clients. And, second, some business owners are actually afraid that they will somehow do it incorrectly and lead to a reduction of clients.

The good news is that we can address each of these fears and provide simple, rational solutions to overcome the obstacle and get started immediately with proper marketing. So, let’s break them down one at a time.

1. Fear of doing it incorrectly.

For the business owners who are afraid that their ezine will somehow be done incorrectly and actually reduce the customer base, there is some very good news – your ezine doesn’t have to be perfect. Far from it, actually.

This is the same fear that prevents people from starting most marketing systems. It seems overwhelming, and you’re afraid that an imperfect marketing piece is going to be counter-productive. But, the truth is that you can absolutely create effective marketing pieces, ezines especially, without being a professional marketer.

For the marketing professionals who are competing with other professionals in their field, then maybe it is more important that their sales letters, ezines, etc. are as close to perfect as possible. But, you are not competing with them. For the most part, you are competing with the other small business owner in your area, and he probably isn’t even producing an ezine anyway.

Remember that nobody knows more about your product or service than you do. So, it should be relatively easy to throw an ezine together that discusses events and information in your field. An imperfect marketing piece is still going to be effective if it increases your referrals and improves your overall relationship with your clients. Maybe, if you had the perfect ezine, you could absolutely maximize your return on your investment (ROI). But, an imperfect ezine will still be effective even if it’s not fully maximizing the ROI. Isn’t some improvement better than none at all?

2. Fear of pestering your clients.

Nobody wants to be a nuisance, especially not to paying customers. But, there are two simple ways to ensure your ezine will be a welcomed guest instead of a pest. First, only send your ezine to customers who have agreed to receive it. Second, and maybe most important, always provide useful content in your ezine.

So, what is useful content? Make sure your articles are helpful in some way to your customers. You’re not writing a technical paper for colleagues in your industry. You’re writing a fun, interesting article that is in some way useful to your customers. You should know better than anyone what your customer wants or needs.

If you’re not sure what your customers want, then an ezine is a perfect way to find out! Simply insert a survey into your ezine, so your customers can tell you what they want or what they would change about your product. Problem solved. It’s not brain surgery.

Once you know what your customers want, you can then write articles on that topic and provide special bonus coupons and offers within the body of your ezine. Your clients will love you for it. They will actually be excited to open your ezine and read it.

So, don’t make it too technical. Keep it fun and interesting. There’s enough stress in the world, so don’t bog your clients down with technical papers about things they won’t understand. In fact, insert a few jokes or comical stories. If it gets your ezine opened and read, it is worth it.

Overall, the key to overcoming your fear is to simply dive right in. If you are a business owner who knows that ezines are important, the key is to dive right in and systemize it. Churn out your ezine on a regular basis. Don’t worry about perfection. Instead, just write for your customers – they will appreciate it.

If you are in the ezine marketing business, understanding this fear of business owners will help you assist those clients who need to start their ezine marketing but who have resisted for so long. If you can help these business owners overcome their fears, you will be the one they turn to for help when they need answers about their ezine system.

Ezine Marketing and Solo Ads to Gain Unlimited MLM Traffic

June 27th, 2010 Rob Posted in Ezines No Comments »

One of the most effective ways to get more MLM traffic to your site is through the ezine marketing. You can have more downlines fast and easy if you can get the best ezines or newsletters for your MLM advertising on the internet.

Ezine is actually an online magazine or popularly known as newsletter. It is a magazine that contains information and usually is sent out straight to the subscriber’s email address.

There are a few reasons why you should be advertising your solo ads on other ezines:

1. The publisher of the ezines have strong relationships with his or her list of subscribers. When the subscribers totally trust and believe in the publisher, your site will be highly targeted as you are advertising in the newsletter. It would be even better if the other MLM marketers would listen to their upline or leader.

2. It is very direct when the newsletters are being delivered. The publisher will send an email as a broadcast to the list of subscribers. So, when people click on your ad, they will be redirected to your main page of your site or blog.

3. The broadcast is a very fast and easy way to get traffic. You will be able to get tons of traffic in short amount of time. You can spend less to generate more traffic and increase your sales for your MLM products.

However, these are the important things you must look out before you buy any solo ads:

1. You need to research the background of the newsletter owners to check if they did the broadcasting before that provides ads in the newsletter. You would not want to be used as the tester for their newsletter in case they haven’t tried this method before. Make sure you do a full background check so you do not waste your precious money on some useless advertising.

2. Sometimes, cheap doesn’t mean good. It simply indicates that when you come across a ‘too good to be true’ offer, such as ‘get more than 100,000 traffic for only $100’, you should beware as it might turn out to be a scam or fake. These people behind the exaggerated claim are trying to make quick money rather than concentrating on building the traffic for you. Usually spammers are the ones who would be doing this, so be careful.

3. To reduce your work and utilize the newsletter advertising better, you can ask the publisher to endorse your MLM products rather than creating an ad for the purpose. Besides, they are sure to know the best way to promote the MLM product effectively.

There are too many ezines publishers out there so it is impossible to get the right one on the first go. How To Get More From Your Articles With Ezine Marketing

June 16th, 2010 Rob Posted in Ezines No Comments »

Writing articles can lead to many potential marketing sources. One of the top ones is ezine marketing using articles.

Let’s take a look at a couple of ways you can write articles and use email newsletters to market your Internet business.

Many people think of submitting to online article directories as the sole purpose for article marketing. However there are thousands of online ezines that you can submit your articles to as well.

1. One really good strategy is to go ahead and submit your articles to some of the top article directories on the Internet. Then carry that a step further and do some ezine advertising to get your articles in front of even more readers.

One way to do this is to contact ezine publishers and offer your articles as content for their newsletter. Many online newsletters struggle to come up with quality articles for their subscribers to read.

If you can write a good article, that offers useful information relevant to the theme of the ezine, there will be email newsletters willing to publish it. Of course every article you write can include a resource box with a link back to your website.

This is a simple way to get more mileage out of your articles and also get free advertising to. This is cheaper than placing a small classified ad or a solo ad in the ezine.

2. Another strategy is to publish your own Internet ezine and use your articles in it. You can go to an online article directory and find quality articles for your newsletter if you are having a problem coming up with content.

Most writers know they are giving up the right to exclusivity for their article when they submitted it to online directories. As an ezine publisher the only rule you must follow is using the article and resource box exactly as it’s written.

By publishing your own online newsletter you can develop your own mailing list of subscribers to your newsletter. If you already enjoy writing starting an ezine makes sense.

This is a couple of tips on how to maximize your articles using ezine marketing. You are only limiting yourself if you’re submitting your articles online only to article directories.

As the Internet continues to mature there are numerous ezines that have subscribers to their newsletters dating back 5 to 10 years or more. These are excellent sources for quality traffic for your Internet business.
