How To Make Money With Google Adsense (Part 3)

January 6th, 2008 Rob Posted in Adsense No Comments »

Today Adsense is making a enormous impact on the network marketing industry. Many merchants are dying a faster death because of this. So if you’re losing then maybe it’s time to start monetizing your pages with Google Adsense.

Google gives well written highly relevant ads that come very close to matching the content on your pages. You do not have to do any of the work matching up ads. With Google’s search engines all that is done for you… So if you have different info on different pages that is okay because Google will match up their ads with each & every page. You are free to work on good content for your site because you do not have to worry about irrelevant ads on your sites.

There are no problems with having Adsense sites on your sites with affiliate links. Where the problem comes in is making your affiliate links look like Adsense ads. This is strictly prohibited & can result in the loss of you Google account. Some times you have to decide if Google is hurting your site by displaying competitor’s ads. You can block up to 200 URLs if this is the case. All you have to do is plug in a bit of code & your ads will be displayed. You only have to apply once & then you can use the same code on all your pages.

There is no way of saying how much money you can make. This all depends on how much traffic your site gets & what the clicks are worth. I’ve seen clicks anywhere from 5 cents to 12 dollars. That generated money is what you’re getting your earnings from. If your sites seem to be getting slow results than attempt to move your ads around or attempt sprucing up your content. Publishers also can select where they display their ads so if you make your sites popular then publishers will want to display their ads on your sites.

There are some topics that should be avoided unless you want to lose your Adsense code. Firearms, gambling, tobacco & drugs are certain topics that will go a long way towards wrecking your Adsense sites.

So it boils down to putting good quality content on your sites so that publishers will want to display their ads on your sites. Also you want to work on getting good quality content to your sites. This will definitely raise your earnings in the Google Adsense world. Never give up because there’re large amounts of money to be made with Adsense.

Adsense Tips You Need To Know

December 31st, 2007 Rob Posted in Adsense No Comments »

Adsense is one of the best on line advertising programs in existence. A large number of bloggers & web site owners use Adsense Ads to create a regular source of income.

Adsense revenue is generated when a visitor to your site clicks through an Adsense Ad you have displayed. In this article I’ll be sharing with you some tips & tricks you’ll need to employ to maximize your Adsense income.

The first & most important thing to increase your Adsense income is to increase the number of click throughs you receive.

The best way to achieve a higher click through rate is to match you Adsense ads with the look of your website. It’s hard to illustrate here but you can check out an example of proper Adsense integration on my website, at the end of this article.

Your goal is to make certain your Adsense ads appear seam less, make certain to match the background color of your ads with the background color of your website.

The size of your Adsense ads is also crucial to your success. The wider ad formats are generally known to be more effective. For vertical skyscraper ads the 160X600 & for rectangles 336X280 have been proven to be the best.

Placement of your Adsense ads is also important, placing them at the top & to the right will improve your click through rate dramatically. Occasionally inserting them between paragraphs works as well but be sure not to over do it.

One thing to keep in mind though is that Google Adsense only allows you to use 3 ad units & one link unit per page. If you exceed the limit you risk the chance of being banned.

Another way to increase your income is to place a Google Adsense search bar on your page. And so… So far so good. When a visitor to your site uses your search bar your Google Adsense ID is embedded in all of their Google searches. Clear? If they then click on any links while surfing from your site, you make money!

Google Adsense filter is also a handy feature that you can use to block your competitors from placing ads on your site. Overdoing it with the filter could limit some of your ad options so use it sparingly.

Adsense also allows you to ad channels so you can monitor different ad campaigns & determine which ones are performing better.

Feel free to experiment with different colors & placements from time to time if you feel you’re not achieving the end results you desire. To see how all of these Adsense tips are integrated drop by my site for a look.

Well good luck, your Adsense revenue should begin to increase in the next couple of weeks.

Can Website Builders Generate Adsense Revenue?

December 25th, 2007 Rob Posted in Adsense No Comments »

In order to make any money online, you need some form of web presence. Now that does not necessarily mean you need a website, because there’re many alternatives to your own website that I discuss in other articles such as blogs, lenses, forums, affiliates etc. But if you want to get serious about making money online, you’ll eventually have to get yourself sorted out with a website.

Some of you might know how to program in HTML or PHP, whereas other will not. Some of you might buy one of the millions of website templates that are widely available online, or even one of the free templates that you can get these days. Designing a website can take hours & hours of your precious time. In some cases it can take weeks to get the site published, & even then you might only have 5 or 6 pages. If you are into Adsense, you’ll want to have as many pages to your website as possible. If you have articles on your site, split them down into 3 or 4 pages so the reader will see more adsense ads.

I have created many websites from scratch with RSS articles as content, sprinkled with adsense & affiliate links. Each one can take a few days to get up & running because it takes time to collect relevant articles. Then one day everything changed for me when I stumbled across a site building program that did all of this for me.

I can now create a 600 page, highly optimized & monetized website, upload & publish it on line within a mere 30 minutes. I then have an indexing strategy which helps get these sites indexed very quickly. I discuss this more on my website, free-money-making-tips.com if you would like to read more.

There is no doubt in my mind that you should leave the act of building websites to software, whilst you can spend your time searching for profitable niche areas. This is what I do. I look for one new niche every week & collect images & affiliate programs relevant to it… I then set up many niche related sub-domains on one or more of my sites, & create many of these websites all targeting this niche market. Because the adsense & affiliate links are pre programmed into the website templates, I know that every page in each website could potentially earn me money.

I explain this in more detail in this free-money-making-tips.com article if you would like more information.

Your Own White Hat Adsense Action Plan

December 13th, 2007 Rob Posted in Adsense No Comments »

Creating an income with Google Adsense always starts with a plan. As a matter of fact anything you do to make money on line needs to start with a plan. In this article I will be giving you a step-by-step action plan that will allow you to create your own plan for earning an income with Google Adsense using white hat techniques.

First & foremost, you will start anything you do concerning making money with Google Adsense by deciding upon one niche & doing keyword research for that one niche. This is what you will use to create your site around that you will put your Google Adsense ads on. There’re many software programs available on line that will make doing keyword research super easy.

Once you have all of your keywords, you will then need to create content based closely on your keywords. There is more. This content will be used for the content for your site. I highly recommend that you outsource your content creation. You can find people to create your content for you at one of any of the many freelance sites online. Creating content is a tedious task, & in the long run will save you time & money.

Now you have got your keywords, & your content, it is time to start building your site. If you are a “techy” kind of person, you can build your own site. If not, there’re many free & paid templates that you can find be searching online. You can even go straight to the freelance sites on line & find people who will design templates for you at a very low cost. Actually building your site is the hardest part of all, & this maybe something else you want to outsource.

Okay, your site is built, but that is only ½ the work. The rest of the work will be in getting traffic to your site. There’re many techniques that you can use to get traffic to your site. I personally use article marketing. Meaning I write (or hire people to write) articles & submit them to article directories.

Once you have an article written add a resource box like the one at the bottom of this site, & put the link to your site in it… By doing this & submitting your article to the article directories, you’re accomplishing two things. You will get instant traffic to your site from anyone who reads your article, & you will be getting backlinks to your site. The more backlinks you have the more important the search engines think your site is & will reward you by ranking you in the top of your listings.

That’s really all there is to it… Now this is just a bare bones action plan, but it will more than get you started on the right path to creating an income with Google Adsense using white hat techniques. Research what you have learned here & create your own action plan for starting your income with Google Adsense.

An Introduction To Making Money With Google Adsense

December 1st, 2007 Rob Posted in Adsense No Comments »

For those who have never used Adsense before, you’ll be delighted to learn of the wonderful ways that you can make money on line with this program. Adsense is an ad revenue sharing program instituted by Google. It’s a program that allows website owners to place a simple piece of code on their websites. The code generates ads that have links to other sites. As users visit your site & click on the ads, you’ll generate a share of earnings based upon those clicks. The Adsense code generates ads that are targeted towards the keywords used on your website, ensuring that the links are relative & meaningful.

There are many ways to use the Adsense program to your advantage & to increase the amount of earnings you make. However, the first rule of thumb when using Adsense is to read their terms of service & ensure that you’re not violating their terms. By example, ads may not actually be placed on sites that have certain content, such as gambling, drugs, or tobacco, so be sure to understand the rules before setting up the code on your website.

Also, there is a limit on how many different ad units you may display at once on your pages. They also have a referral program, search box, & tools that you can incorporate with your Google Adsense to earn additional revenue. Be sure to read the terms of use thoroughly to make certain that you do not exceed the limit of ads on your website.

Many webmasters often have more than one site. With the popularity of bogging, Google Adsense has made it very simple to add the code to multiple sites & blogs. Once you have created a Google Adsense account, you’ll use that same account for all of the ads, search boxes, or referral products on any website or blog that you run. This makes it very easy to add Adsense code to other websites & blogs simply by using code. In actual fact, Blogger is a tool that allows users to put Google Adsense code directly into their blogs, allowing more people to earn with Google Adsense then ever before.

Some other advantages towards using Google Adsense include the facts that you can display other affiliate ads while promoting Google Adsense at the same time. Also, you can customize the look & feel of the ads by selecting colors that compliment your website. This is a very important strategy used to attract visitors to the ads & ultimately, clicking the links.

The ads are also customizable, & you have the option of targeting certain ads, & removing a limited amount of URLs from the ads displayed. This is highly effective in ensuring that your competitors are not displaying ads on your site.

It is also important to realize that Google Adsense hosts many forums, blogs, & webmaster resources to help make your Google Adsense links more effective. By taking the time to review their terms, make certain that your website meets their guidelines, & using their resources you can earn money on line through your own Google Adsense links.

How To Make Money With Google Adsense (Part 2)

November 25th, 2007 Rob Posted in Adsense No Comments »

Most of my blogs are dependent on Google Adsense to make real cash that I can put in my bank account & spend. In the next couple of weeks I’m going to attempt to show you exactly what Google Adsense is & how it can be often used to monetize your sites. I’ll also show you why it’s so important to follow Google’s rules so that your account is not deleted.

Who Else Is Using Adsense To Make Money?

Everybody today is using Adsense to make thousands of extra dollars. High school students, house wives, retirees, moms & dads. Most of these people have never made a dime on the internet before but now are on their way to hundreds of thousands of dollars $ with Adsense. You may already have heard some of their stories. They are what we call super Adsense earners. All they have done is promote Adsense sites. This just goes to show that anyone can earn money using Adsense.

Articles are the way to go. If you can write good original quality articles that are rich with good key words then you can make good money using Adsense. The nice thing about this is that you do not really have to be a real expert at anything. So if you are not writing good articles & monetizing your site with Adsense then you’re probably missing out on thousands of dollars.

Contents & links are the way many people are going. When you combine the two together you can not get a better marketing tool for your internet business. This method of marketing will never grow old as long as you can keep coming up with quality content that people want to read. I would suggest studying key words & search engine optimization.

So now you are asking if this is so easy then why is not virtually everyone doing it? There is a simple one word answer to that question. The word is time. In order to put out articles that have quality content you have to first write the articles & then you have to submit them to get them working for you… You can hire people to write good articles for you but you must be prepared to pay a little money before you make the money.

Do you like writing? If you answered yes to that question then you already have a distinct advantage over many others who are staying home to attempt & earn a living. So if you have the time I suggest you start writing articles related to your sites & start getting them submitted so you can now start earning money from your Adsense ads.

So What Exactly Do You Have To Do?

Write, write & write. You need articles with good quality content. These articles have to contain rich key words or phrases. These links have to be built into the resource boxes on your articles. Once these articles are on your sites then Adsense will put ads on your sites that relate to your key words.

Google Adsense is wide open to users. There is room for virtually everyone to be involved with it… However I would suggest you get going because by waiting you are missing out on millions & millions of dollars $ that are paid out every year with Adsense.

How to Create a Website & Earn Revenue with Google Adsense

November 19th, 2007 Rob Posted in Adsense No Comments »

So you have decided you had like to create a website, & you had like to earn a little money off it… Well, adding targeted Pay-Per-Click ads, like Google Adsense, to your site offers a quick & easy way to earn revenue without the hassle of seeking out & managing advertisers. Here are a few tips to help you get started.

Selecting a Topic
First & foremost, it’s important to pick a topic that you’re passionate about. If you enjoy the topic, you will not mind putting a lot of time & energy into creating a quality website. Also, starting a project with prior knowledge of the subject makes it easier for you to generate targeted, well-written content ? a must when using Google Adsense successfully.

Choosing a Domain Name
Be sure you select a domain name that is memorable, on topic, & easy to spell. This will help establish your branding, attract repeat visitors, & ease your marketing campaigns in the future.

Designing the Site
It’s essential to carefully plan out the structure of the website ? how the information will be broken down, what navigation items you would like, & what you would like to highlight on the homepage. Once your structure is ironed out, the next step is to design the site layout. Keep in mind you’ll need to leave room for the Google ads, which can be shaped like skyscrapers, banners, or squares.

If you do not have an eye for design or have any web development ability, you should hire a professional web designer to create the site for you… Based closely on your abilities, the web designer may train you on how to add more articles to the site by modifying the existing code, or he or she may develop a Content Management System (CMS) for you… A CMS allows you to create additional sections & articles through a user-friendly interface similar to Microsoft ™ Word. You do not need any web design skills to input more data, & the additional pages will maintain a consistent, professional look.

Creating Google Adsense Ads
Once your site is developed, sign up for a Google Adsense account. You can then customize the shape & colors of the Google Ads using Google’s Ad Format Wizard. Many times, trial & error will reveal which color scheme is most profitable for your site.

Promoting Your Site
The final step is to get the word out. You will need to draw visitors in to your site to read that quality content & to click on those relevant Google ads. So you should submit your site to major search engines like Google & Yahoo. You should also submit your link to the Open Directory, dmoz.org, which gives data for other search engines. There is more. To attract targeted visitors, exchange links with other sites that pertain to your topic. Be sure to also promote your site offline. By example, write press releases, tell your friends, or advertise in relevant publications.

Creating a targeted, informative website takes time & persistence. But if you are willing to put the effort into making a quality site, you can earn money on a continual basis with Google Adsense.

Google AdWords are small text ads that are display on the side on the search results in the Google. The ads will serve based closely on what you’re looking for. Google AdWords work on model known as call ‘pay-per-click’. When some one clicks on AdWords ad, the advertiser of those ads needs to pay Google on certain amount. It’s easy to track & fully automated. Therefore, when ever a visitor click the ads displaying at your website, you’ll earn a share of the ‘pay per click’ amount from Google. 1.Type & Format of Your Ad
Even that you can let Google to decide what type of Ads that will displayed on your web site, but as the web publisher you should take a move to choice the ads that suit the content of your website.
