There are a lot of people who would not want to add images on their site. They did not know that more than getting traffic from keywords, you can also generate more traffic by adding images on your web site. Do not underestimate the power of images in getting indexed by most search engines.

Here are some tips on how you can get search engine traffic with images.

1. You need to upload pictures or images on your web host. You see, the search engine bots are not tracking where the image can be easily found but rather the site where the image was actually located. So make certain to upload pictures on your own blog or on your site so that the search engines will find you easily.

2. You need to maximize the use of keywords on your image files. There is more. This is also one way of getting the search engine find you even without the keywords on the content. Or if your contents are already keyword rich then this will be an additional chance of being caught by search bots.

3. You should also add in the ‘alt’ on your image tags. Just like image names, they’re being indexed by search bots.

4. You should also make certain that your Google enhanced image search is enabled. Google has been the biggest search engine & if you’re able to use the image search, then it increases the chance of being in top page ranks using the images on your site.

5. If you have image folders for your uploads, it would help if you would have a txt file that can be read by search bots on your directory.
