Ezines today can be published rapidly & easily. All you need is the website & a way to load up the content or art/photos. Here is a list of 9 steps to get you started with fast ezine publishing, & you can overlap the timing on many of these.

Step 1: Subject Matter
Your ezine can be about anything, so you might as well make it about something you enjoy. Whatever it is, there is plenty of cyberspace for it.

Step 2: Design
Design it cleanly, & select colors your readers would appreciate.

Step 3: Content
Decide in advance what restrictions you’ll have on content. If it is fiction, will you restrict language? If it is a trade ezine, will you allow self-promotion?

Step 4: Court Advertisers
Once you have your design & content decided upon, send notices to potential advertisers.

Step 5: Anticipation
Get those press releases out there when you’re about a month away from going live, but make certain you will not miss your deadline first.

Step 6: Dry Run
Set up the ezine on a test server & password it–give the password to a few friends & have them test it, then give feedback.

Step 7: Fix It
Fix any problems quickly–fast ezine publishing depends on fast response to problems.

Step 8: Load It & Go Live
See if you can have a small party for interested people & your supporters when you go live. Make it a festive occasion.

Step 9: Advertise
Use MySpace, blogs, forums, & more to advertise your ezine. If you have the money, do some PPC advertising as well, & keep promoting it.
